Consumer Protection

A collection agency acts on behalf of clients to collect a debt that is owed to them. The Collections Act requires that all collection agencies operating in the province be licensed and adhere to a collections code of practice

Government protects the interests of the consumers, consumer rights and is linked with consumer organizations that help consumers make informed selections in the marketplace.
